Day Tours For those visiting Tai'z with limited time
but with plenty of adventure. Explore the Tai'z Old
City, Fish market tour, lively Sunday village souq,
breathtaking hiking, soaring mountain views (from
the top of Jebel Sabir), strange trees, learn how to
cook Yemeni, visit a village home. Bus or airport
pick ups and transfers can be arranged. “To Yemen”
will arrange a vehicle, driver and guide where

Sana'a with limited time but with plenty of
adventure. Explore the Sana'a Old City, House on the
Rock, Museum, surrounding villages. Bus or airport

will arrange a vehicle, driver and guide where
needed.
Total Cultural immersion - Survivor (2day).Total
Cultural immersion - Survivor (2day) Survivor Immersion -
this is the total Yemeni rural experience of how 70% of
Yemen’s population live! You will stay in a village home and
be ‘part of the family’ on the mountain of Sabir in Tai'z.
If you are up for the challenge, you will have no contact
with other foreigners and no speaking of your native
language. You will eat local home cooked food (with high
hygiene standards), wear local dress, take local transport
(including hiking and donkeys) and you will also take
responsibility for household chores in the village (such as
collecting and carrying your own water). This can be
included as part of a longer tour program or you can do it
as a stand alone program.
Total Cultural Immersion – Comfort (2 days).Total
Cultural Immersion – Comfort (2 days) This program
has been developed especially for foreign embassies
and foreign businesspeople (and families) in Yemen.
This is an exclusive stand alone program run in
partnership between “To Yemen” and CPS. This will
involve transport to and from Tai'z to your city of
residence, 6 hours of Arabic culture and language
coaching at CPS, catching local transport, visiting
local homes and eating with local families (but
staying at a comfortable hotel in Tai'z or with an
option of a village stay). This program is run from
Wednesday afternoon-Friday afternoon only and
includes flights or Luxury transport from Sana'a or
Aden.
Going local.Going
local For those wanting to stay a bit longer in a
city and really wanting to make some Yemeni friends
(aside from your tour guide!), without the challenge
of language, you can participate in our ‘going
local’ program. Women can hang out with women, and
men with men – that speak your language! If you
really want to “go local” and volunteer your time to
help develop the youth of Yemen, we can facilitate a
rich experience as “English coaches” – simply
speaking English with a local friend – for as many
days as you want!

Island of Wonder. This is an unforgettable tour to
the island for all ages, families, and groups.
Socotra was nominated to be one the seven wonders of
the world. A blend of beaches, valleys, mountains,
forests and caves; it truly a piece of beauty and
abundant natural wonders. The island has a huge
number of unique and endangered animals and plants.
Mountain Hiking.Mountain Hiking Our fully
guided hiking tours will ensure you experience the
beauty of Yemeni mountains the way they should be
discovered….by foot! You will hike from village to
village through breathtaking scenery in the Haraz
mountains.
Exploring the Ancient Coffee.Trail. Exploring the Ancient Coffee
Trail Yemen is known as the birthplace of coffee and
continues to produce the best coffee in the world.
Visit the plantations of Yemeni coffee at very high
altitudes approaching 3000 meters on the beautifully
terraced mountain slopes of Yemen. Meet local
farmers and learn about the ancient tradition of
coffee production in Yemen.

We can also organize specialized tours for groups with a
particular passion for snorkeling and scuba diving and
discovering the underwater gems of the world famous Red Sea.
